The production process of our MAKROSPEC® carriers is based on the patented VYCOR® technology. Starting material is standard borosilicate glass, which undergoes thermal treatment in a first step and an extraction process thereafter. The results are glass granule with a defined open-pore structure with more than 96 % of pure SiO₂. We currently offer our MAKROSPEC® materials in four standard qualities with a wide range of product properties, so you are optimally equipped for our customers application.
